Invitation: exhibition "Finno-Ugric & Samoyed People" opening

On the 19th of April at 18:00 Estonian Mission to the UN will open an exhibition "Finno-Ugric & Samoyed People" at the UNHQ visitor's lobby.

The exhibition portrays the cultures and languages of the Uralic peoples.

Opening remarks will be made by the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights Andrew Gilmore, Chief of the Secretariat of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues Chandra Roy-Henriksen and Estonian Permanent Representative to the UN Sven Jürgenson.

This exhibition is presented on the occasion of the 16th Session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues and the 10th anniversary of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
