BAKU, Jan 13, BNS - Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, now on an official visit to Azerbaijan, discussed relations between the two countries with Ilham Aliyev, the head of state of Azerbaijan.
According to the AzerTac news agency the heads of state recognized the development of relations between the two countries in politics, economy and in other spheres.
In addition to bilateral relations Ilves and Aliyev discussed also other issues of mutual interest, AzerTac said.
Ilves will be in Baku from January 12 to 15 at Aliyev's invitation.
The president is accompanied by Juhan Parts, the Estonian minister for economic affairs and communications, and a nearly 20-strong business delegation during his visit to Azerbaijan.
The two countries' joint information technology forum will take place in Baku with the two presidents participating. At the forum Estonian IT sphere entrepreneurs will inform the public, among other things, about opportunities of the X-Road project.
